Reducing CO2 emissions with PremiAL
CO2 emissions from aluminum extrusion manufacturing to processing and assembly
(Per kilogram of aluminum)
Manufacturing aluminum extrusions from recycled material generates approximately 50% fewer CO2 emissions*2 than using primary raw materials.
*1 Of PremiAL raw materials (LIXIL-manufactured 6063 alloys, dissimilar alloys, and purchased billets), the LIXIL-manufactured 6063 alloys utilize 60% or more recycled aluminum. Dissimilar alloys and purchased billets are excluded from the calculation.
*2 As calculated by LIXIL
*3 CO2 emissions calculated to include LIXIL-manufactured 6063 alloys, dissimilar alloys, and purchased billets. Third-party SuMPO EPD verification obtained. See the SuMPO EPD website (https://ecoleaf-label.jp) for details on this EPD.
PremiAL produced at all manufacturing plants* worldwide
The PremiAL series can be mass produced at all aluminum extrusion manufacturing plants* worldwide.
*As of September 2025, at factories in Thailand, Vietnam, Oyabe, Shimotsuma, and Ariake
